Wolf Blitzer Worships the State

Wolf Blitzer and Donald Trump had a heated exchange on CNN last night and today it is a hot story. Why? Because it is red meat for the unthinking masses: Wolf called Donald crazy for being a birther, and Donald called CNN lousy for having terrible ratings. Oh boy, how exciting. I don't understand why people fall for this sort of "bread and circus," but apparently they do, because here in South Carolina Newt Gingrich won the Republican Presidential Primary thanks in large part to his quips directed at John King during the CNN Debate.

Anyhow, I wanted to post this so you could hear what I heard in Wolf Blitzer's voice as he interviewed Trump:

Listen to his absolutely panicked disbelief that anyone could possibly disagree with the state. "But the state said...." and "but the state of Hawaii authorized...."

It's absolutely disgusting. Why is it that people rest their ultimate decision making authority with the state? Is it so that they can avoid the difficult burden of thinking?
